The RAW Tag Team Division

Highlights of the Division

The team of Cesaro and Sheamus haven’t build any momentum on their upcoming title match against the Hardy Boys since winning the gauntlet match last week. Sheamus lost in a singles match against Jeff Hardy which doesn’t help the build up to the tag title match in a few weeks.

The WWE is doing a disservice to the title challengers by having them put over the tag champs either in tag or singles competition consistently. It’ll mute the character shift and turn them back to the redundant characters they were before Payback. It’s hard to imagine at this point in time if “Shesaro” will have any shot in beating the Hardys in a few weeks at Extreme Rules.

So the tag division will see one less team floating around and that would be the Golden Truth. To be frank, Goldust turning on R-Truth will change anything in their standing in both the tag division and eventually the mid-card division. The feud most likely will fizzle out in a month and both men will be jobbing to other superstars in the long run.

Gallows and Anderson will need to get back on the saddle and score a few wins in the meantime. The perfect opponent for them should be Slater and Rhyno, it’ll keep both teams pre-occupied for the short-term.

These are the rankings for the division this week.
