A look at how to watch Sunday night’s WWE Backlash Kickoff Show online.

On Sunday night, the WWE Backlash pay-per-view will take place from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL. It’s a SmackDown Live show, meaning stars like Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and others will be part of this event.

Before Backlash goes on the air, there will be a Kickoff Show. It will take place one hour beforehand, featuring a panel of WWE experts and one advertised match.

Tye Dillinger and Aiden English will go head-to-head in the kickoff. These two aren’t unfamiliar to each other, having faced off multiple times on SmackDown. The Perfect 10 has won all of their matchups, so the result for this may not be in doubt.

Backlash is also the first PPV Dillinger has been part of. He’s not on the main card, but still found a way to be in the Kickoff Show. We’ll see if it leads to anything more significant after Sunday night.

Following this, we’ll see matches like Orton vs. Jinder Mahal and Owens vs. Styles take place. These are the top two title bouts for Backlash, for the WWE and United States Championships, respectively.

Mahal became the No. 1 Contender to Orton during a match on SmackDown. It earned him his first World title opportunity, something that could lead to a career-making moment in the Windy City.

Styles also won a contender match to face Owens. He hasn’t held the U.S. Championship before, so the hardware may be quickly stacking up after Backlash.
