4. Kimberly Frankele (Kimber Lee)

If we’re being honest, the NXT women’s division is actually in pretty good shape right now. Asuka, Ember Moon, Ruby Riot, Nikki Cross, Peyton Royce, and Billie Kay are all crowded around the championship. That’s a really good core to build around.

Beyond that, though, there’s a bit of a drop off. Liv Morgan and Aaliyah have gotten more TV time than most everyone else, but they are still honing their craft and learning. If push came to shove, NXT may be in a little trouble if any of the six top women competitors were to be called up or miss some time with injury.

That being said, if NXT wants to augment it’s women’s division, it’s time to start adding in some new faces on a more regular basis. A prime candidate would be Kimberly Frankele, formerly known as Kimber Lee.

Frankele – who was trained by Drew Gulak – has appeared on NXT sporadically over the past few months, both under her real name and Kimber Lee. While not really having much opportunity to show her ability, the fact remains that she’s one of the best in the division. The average WWE/NXT fan may not know this, but anyone familiar with Frankele’s work prior to her signing would agree.

The best examples of Frankele’s ability to be a star in NXT would be her numerous matches with Ruby Riot. Most took place in CHIKARA, but they clashed in various promotions as well. Many of those matches stole the show on which they took place. Why not try to recreate that in NXT, a la Zayn/Owens?
