The finish to AJ Styles vs Kevin Owens at Backlash was a polarizing one. Some thought it was a good way to keep both of them looking strong and to progress the feud. Others thought it was lazy booking or that Styles’ foot going through the table was a botch. The match at Backlash did a good job telling a story and that story was not meant to finish in just one chapter.

These two are no strangers to stealing the show at Money in the Bank. Kevin Owens did so against John Cena in 2015 and Styles also stole the show in 2016 in a match against the Leader of the Cenation at Money in the Bank. The rematch will probably be a step above the match we saw at Backlash because the chemistry between them can only get better. In a strange turn of events, the loser of this match may be challenging for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam.
