Kalisto vs. Apollo Crews (w/ Titus O’Neil)

Result: Kalisto defeated Apollo Crews via pinfall

Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars

Good to know Booker T is deaf. Dead silence from the crowd caused him to say, “That might have been the biggest pop for Apollo since his debut!” Oof, where’s Otunga?

Getting to the match, it could have been something really special if either guy had a connection with the crowd that would justify giving it 10 minutes or longer. Crews works a terrific hybrid of power and high-flying, and Kalisto is so fast that he can do unbelievable things.

That said, for what it was the match was pretty good. It’s just that it wasn’t much to begin with. The dynamic between Crews and Titus is interesting, and I think everyone is waiting for the blow-up. No way should Apollo be a heel, so it’s likely only a matter of time before this goes south. And Kalisto further cements his status as unlikely underdog victor.

Goldust Prime

Welcome back, Goldust. I feel like I just traveled back to 1996.

Alexa Bliss

I don’t know how many more weeks I can write “Alexa Bliss is so much better than all the other women on Raw,” guys. It’s getting ridiculous.

But those welts on Bayley’s back from last week? Yeesh. Kendo sticks usually don’t leave marks like that, they’re just loud (source: I’ve been hit with one multiple times; long story). For Bayley to look like she got caught painting graffiti in Singapore, Alexa must have been wailing away.
