Predicting WWE Money in the Bank 2017 Ladder Match Entrants

Since arriving at SmackDown Live in April, all Sami Zayn has done is lose. He even took the pinfall from Jinder Mahal in the No. 1 Contenders Match, which eventually gave the Maharaja the WWE Championship at Backlash.

However, that same night, Zayn broke out of his funk. He defeated Baron Corbin, despite being overwhelmed for much of the match. The win came out of nowhere and solidified that “Underground from the Underground” persona.

This should give Zayn some momentum toward the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, which he brought up in his Talking Smack segment on Sunday night. Someone like this former NXT Champion seems tailor-made for it, being able to pull off the unusual offense and taking a brunt of attacks in returns. He can create some spots, as well, giving the match some eye-popping moments.

The time for Zayn holding the briefcase could arrive at Money in the Bank. He could win it and eventually cash in on Jinder Mahal — if he’s still WWE Champion. It would come full circle, after the match on SmackDown, where Zayn gets his revenge.
