The RAW Women’s Division

Highlights of the Division

The key match of the division on RAW was between Alexa Bliss and Mickie James. The champ picked up another win in her build up towards her Extreme Rules match against Bayley. Bliss has been a blessing in disguise for the division since arriving to RAW last month. She has elevated the importance of the championship with her stellar mic skills and her 3-0 winning streak since Payback. She has single-handedly kept the division at the forefront of Monday Night RAW.

Bayley will need to be booked more aggressively before Extreme Rules. She has looked like a weak contender compared to the champion. That needs to change in order for the audience to believe that Bayley has a legitimate shot to beat the champion. She’ll need to prove to everyone that she isn’t a lame-duck title challenger.

Sasha Banks scored the decisive win in the trilogy rivalry against Alicia Fox. These kind of match-ups are a perfect way to build up more credible challengers in the division. Alicia Fox before Payback was an exclusive valet of Noam Dar—now she’s presented as an equal to title contenders like Sasha Banks.

Nia Jax didn’t compete this week on RAW but her partnership with Alexa Bliss is key to her title standing after Extreme Rules. Will the Samoan finally get her first ever one-on-one title shot for the championship?

These are the rankings for the division this week.
