The SmackDown Live Tag Team Division

Highlights of the Division

The Usos’ mic skills this week on Smackdown Live was top-notch. Stealing the Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green’s viral “Yup, Nope” rant and turning into their own was pure genius. Their mastery on the mic has been astounding, as have been their title reign since mid-March. Cleaning out the division in this short amount of time has definitely boosted their credibility as the premier tag team in the WWE.

With the New Day getting a title opportunity at Money in the Bank, it’ll be interesting to see if they do capture the championships this soon from the Usos. A lengthy feud between the teams is long overdue since the last time they faced each other nearly a year and a half ago. There are stark differences between the two squads and the WWE should entertain that angle even further.

It looks like Breezango might not be done as far as being relevant in the tag team division. With the trashing of their office, it looks like one of the remaining tag teams might have a bone to pick with them. Put money on American Alpha being that team since they have been missing for a number of weeks now. Maybe an attitude change could freshen up the former tag champs.

Let’s see the rankings for the division this week.
