3. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins is an interesting case here and quite possibly another example of poor booking.

Long story short, Rollins climbed the ladder, hurt his knee, and was booked to beat Triple H at WrestleMania and hasn’t gotten anywhere since. One would think that if you are booked to beat the Cerebral Assassin at WrestleMania that’s got to mean something, but apparently, it did not.

Rollins isn’t a guy I get excited for anymore, but he’s a guy the WWE likes and he’ll always linger around in some capacity whether it’s in a high-stakes feud like with Triple H, or in a title picture, Rollins will always be around—heck, who knows, they could even reform part of, if not the entire Shield again.

The two guys remaining—Bray Wyatt and Samoa Joe—need to be booked to win more than Rollins as neither of them have yet to stick out as someone who will always linger around like Rollins has proved to throughout his career, for better or for worst. Please note, though: That doesn’t mean they are inferior characters to Rollins, it’s just what the WWE has shown the viewer with their booking strategies.

It wouldn’t be surprising if they book Rollins to win considering what has been mentioned already regarding the Triple H feud and now he ultimately gets his shot at the title, but we’ll see how that turns out.
