Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt
With the rest of the undercard stars of Raw taken up in this scenario, it leaves Bray Wyatt and Seth Rollins available to go head-to-head. They had a match on Raw already, but have yet to feud or battle, one-on-one, at a WWE PPV.
Rollins will need something to do for the summer, as Samoa Joe, his old foe, is off to face Brock Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire. He’s been involved with Joe for most of 2017, so he’ll need to move on to someone else.
Wyatt hasn’t found his groove since moving to Raw, although he put on a solid performance in the fatal five-way match, which should give him some momentum. That can lead to a feud with someone like Finn Balor, but WWE already teased tension between those two and never followed up, so maybe they’ll do something else.
Rollins vs. Wyatt could be a fun PPV match, which fills in about 15 minutes of SummerSlam. There’s upside to this stealing the show, having clashing styles battling. Fans have seen this happen before and could be in store for it again.
