2. Sasha Banks and Bayley Main Event NXT TakeOver in Iron Man Match

Sasha Banks and Bayley didn’t just put on two of the best matches in 2015, they put together two of the greatest Women’s matches in WWE history. The second of which—a 30-Minute Iron Man Match—was the main event of NXT TakeOver: Respect. It was the first time a women’s match had headlined a WWE/NXT pay-per-view.

And just as they did at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn two months earlier, Sasha and Bayley brought the house down in an epic 30-minute war. Bayley scored a submission in the final seconds of the match to take a 3-2 lead and retain the NXT Women’s Championship.

Not just an all-time NXT TakeOver classic, but a defining moment in the WWE’s Women’s Evolution. The first meeting between Sasha and Bayley in Brooklyn was voted the NXT Match of the Year, and their Iron Man Match finished second in the voting.

The latter is historic as it was the first women’s main event on such a big stage. To say they delivered would be an understatement.
