Raw Women’s Championship Match
Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks

Alexa Bliss reigned supreme at WWE Extreme Rules, defeating Bayley to retain the Raw Women’s Championship. It was her first defense, coming in a Kendo Stick-on-a-Pole match.

Bliss disposed of Bayley somewhat easily, as the match only lasted around 10 minutes. It made her look strong despite the bout not being anything noteworthy. Either way, it pushes Ms. Five Feet of Fury into the summer as the Raw Women’s Champion and will lead the show’s Women’s division for months to come.

As for the next potential contender, Sasha Banks stands as an option. She won her tag match with Rich Swann at Extreme Rules and has two other wins over Alicia Fox on Raw, so the momentum is there.

Bliss vs. Banks is also a new feud for WWE programming, as the two never battled in something long-term in NXT. If they feud, will they have a good match? How long would their rivalry last for?

If not the Boss, then Nia Jax is a backup option. She stated her intentions on the Extreme Rules Kickoff Show, and even had her name brought up during Banks’ Raw Talk appearance. Might that mean a No. 1 Contenders match is on the way?
