The Viper Enters the Squared Circle

Since losing the WWE Championship to Jinder Mahal at Backlash, Randy Orton hasn’t competed on televised WWE programming. While he delivers a strong promo about the new champion last week, the time has come for him to return to the squared circle. His rematch for the title is rapidly approaching, and fans need to be reminded of just how big of a threat he is.

Because much of the Blue Brand’s roster is preoccupied at the moment, the talent pool to face Orton is rather slim. Superstars currently involved in the male MiTB ladder match could be used, but the Viper needs a win here. Having men such as Dolph Ziggler or Kevin Owens fall to Orton isn’t the right call at this time though. They need to be built up just as he does, so WWE needs to find a viable solution here.

Among those who could be selected, the Singh Brothers are an appealing and logical choice. They’ve been a thorn in the side of the Viper for quite some time, and were even responsible for him losing the title. An interesting match here could feature the two of them facing the former champion in a handicap match. Some might think this is stacking the deck against Orton, however, he is more than capable of defeating them.

If the Viper is allowed to stand tall against the Singh Brothers, he will be one step closer to gaining his revenge. He’s intent on destroying Mahal at Money in the Bank, and nothing is capable of stopping him. Their battle is going to be intense and chaotic, which is exactly what makes it so appealing. Come MiTB, these two may surpass expectations by a wide margin.
