More Arrivals for the Blue Brand?

Throughout the past few weeks, I have continuously predicted that Rusev is going to appear on SmackDown Live. Unfortunately, I’ve been wrong about this every single time. Honestly, I don’t know why he hasn’t returned yet. Perhaps WWE Chairman Vince McMahon himself is trying to humiliate me at every turn. That’s assuming I’m even a dot on his radar (I’m not).

At this point, I know that the week I don’t write about Rusev is the week he’ll arrive. To keep things interesting, I’ll also address any other returns that could be happening in the near future. Besides Rusev, the only other talent we definitively know is arriving soon is Lana. The former valet has teased her return with a series of vignettes showing her new attire and persona. Plus, she’s made it her mission to be inserted into the female MiTB ladder match.

Since that event is only a few weeks away, WWE may decide to have her return to television sooner rather than later. As a young and charismatic young woman, Lana has plenty to offer the women’s division. The only negative revolving around her stems from a lack of in-ring experience, but that could change in the coming weeks. If she can prove herself in that regard, she has the chance to make a strong impression on the WWE Universe.

While we’re on the subject of returns, does anyone else want to see Shelton Benjamin at Money in the Bank? He helped to put the MiTB ladder match on the map, and the former Intercontinental and United States Champion would be a welcome addition to SmackDown Live. The company welcomed him back once before, perhaps they may do so again. One can dream.
