Davey Richards vs Vicas Kumar
Result: Richards def. Kumar via submission
Richards jumps on Kumar early including a double foot stomp. Kumar fights back with the adulation of the fans behind him. He gets a little overzealous as he goes for a dive on Richards and crashes face first into the ground. Kumar continues to fight his way back but another missed dive in the form of a moonsault is the beginning of the end. Richards forces Kumar to tap with an ankle lock as Kumar loses in his home nation.
After the match, Ethan Carter III comes down the ramp with a strap in his hand. Last week, EC3 lost his shot at being in the main event of Slammiversary. EC3 whips Kumar but James Storm comes to help the native. Storm runs Ethan Carter to the backstage but the damage had already been done.
Swoggle chases down Rockstar Spud into the arena. Both have been attacking each other with hammers. Neither man laid a hand on each other tonight as Rockstar Spud fled the scene.
Joseph Park visits Impact headquarters to meet with Jeremy Borash. Borash is in a production meeting when Park pulls him out of the meeting to start training. He says that it is imperative that they train right now.
