3 Potential Feuds for John Cena’s WWE SmackDown Live Return

For the first time since WrestleMania 33, John Cena is set to return to the WWE on July 4th, here are three potential feuds Cena could enter when he returns.

It has been two months since the WWE universe has seen John Cena in a WWE ring. This week on Smackdown Live a vignette was shown announcing that Cena would be returning to WWE on July 4th.

This will mark the first time since April that Mr. Hustle, Loyalty and Respect will be on Smackdown Live. After not being moved to RAW during the superstar shakeup, Cena will continue his hall of fame career on Smackdown Live.

Cena’s last run was eventful as he won his 16th Word Championship tying him at first all-time with Ric Flair. However, after only two weeks Cena would lose the title inside the Elimination Chamber to Bray Wyat.

Cena would then enter a feud with The Miz and Maryse bringing in his real life girlfriend Nikki Bella for help. The four would create some of the most must-see segments heading into WrestleMania building up their match.

Cena and Bella would win the match and Cena would then propose to Nikki Bella. Since that night Cena has been gone filming movies and his reality show. Naturally, it would’ve been logical for Cena to return and continue his feud with The Miz.

However, The Miz was moved to RAW, during the superstar shakeup, leaving Cena with the opportunity to feud with a new opponent. With this in mind here are three potential superstars Cena could feud with.
