The SmackDown Live Tag Team Division

Highlights of the Division

The New Day beating the Colons in their first match on Smackdown Live was a much-needed momentum boost for their upcoming title match at Money in the Bank. They’ll need to up the ante in their feud with the Usos to gain some psychological advantage before the pay per view arrives. The Usos once again laid a verbal beatdown to their opponents and have been consistently the best trash talkers in the WWE today. Their verbal warfare resonates more with the crowd than the New Day’s silly jokes. It’ll be interesting to see how the New Day responds the following week.

Breezango might be out of the title picture but they are still relevant in the entertaining aspect of the Smackdown Live broadcast. Their Fashion Files could possibly expand past the tag division and could be used in enhancing other feuds on Smackdown Live. Nobody knows who trashed their office last week and that should be angle that the WWE could look at in the coming weeks.

American Alpha has still been missing in action for weeks now and they’ll need to resurface after Money in the Bank concludes. If the New Day do win the titles, American Alpha could be in the running to get the first crack at the titles.

Let’s see the rankings for the division this week.
