The night after WrestleMania surely is a wild one, and Dolph Ziggler learned that for himself when he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase that night.
After Alberto Del Rio got his ankle injured at the hands of Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler’s music hit, and the place erupted.
Ziggler cashed in his briefcase and the match began. The match was primarily controlled by Ziggler, but Del Rio managed to get some offense in throughout the match. The crowd was invested in every move and was going crazy.
Once Ziggler finally hit the Zig Zag and covered Del Rio for the win, the crowd blew the roof off the place. At that point, it didn’t matter that Ziggler was a heel. It was just incredible to see Ziggler finally make it big as the World Heavyweight Champion.
Dolph Ziggler claimed he was going to cash in at WrestleMania, but the night after proved to be just as memorable. This moment is always brought up as both one of the best Money in the Bank cash-ins and best RAW after WrestleMania moments.
I guess we will just have to wait until later on in this list for someone to cash in their Money in the Bank briefcase at WrestleMania…
