12. Kane

While Kane’s actual match against Rey Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship was not exciting at all, the circumstances will allow Kane’s cash in to be remembered in WWE history.

Kane was the first ever Superstar to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase on the same night that he won it. Kane also currently still holds the record for the quickest time to cash in the briefcase at just 49 minutes.

Also, after Kane had held the WWE Championship for just one day and had held the ECW Championship, Kane finally got an opportunity for a legitimate run with a world championship in the WWE.

Aside from all of the circumstances and aftermath, the cash in was not all that exciting. After Rey Mysterio’s title defense against Jack Swagger, Kane came out to cash in his briefcase.

The match was incredibly one sided. Kane simply hit Mysterio with a chokeslam and a tombstone and easily pinned him for the belt.

There was barely a pop from the crowd because the match was just not captivating, and the end result was too predictable. Nevertheless, congrats to Kane on his Money in the Bank records.
