5. The Women Waste Little Time to Cash in
WWE Money in the Bank 2017 will go in the history books as the first time the women would participate in the traditional ladder match. It is a bout of historic proportions and would be a strong statement towards women’s revolution in the WWE. Raw hosted the first ever women’s Hell in a Cell match. Sunday would be SmackDown Live‘s shot at creating history.
The field is filled with heels mostly, ranging from veterans like Natalya and Tamina to new era stars like Carmella. Becky Lynch would be the only pure babyface in the match. Whereas Charlotte Flair remains in the gray area. She is not with the heels at the moment. However, that doesn’t make her a face. Anytime during the match, she could turn her back on Lynch and pick up any opportunity presented for herself.
Regardless of who wins the briefcase at the end, I have a feeling they might not hold on to it for long. This could especially be the case if Lynch of Charlotte wins the match. They could show up as soon as the Naomi – Lana affair is over and cash in the briefcase and might even win the title. Of course, that would depend on the story that is to unfold during Naomi’s title defense.
