SmackDown Women’s Championship Match
Naomi (c) vs. Lana

After going back-and-forth with whether to predict that the Smackdown Women’s Championship match or the men’s Money in the Bank match should be third on the card, the women’s title match made sense here.

From a booking perspective, it just doesn’t seem wise to use up the two matches that the pay-per-view is named after within the first three matches on the card.

Sure, there are only five matches scheduled thus far, but by have Naomi and Lana up before the men’s match, there will be a focus not only the match, but on a potential cash-in by whoever came up victorious earlier in the night.

After that suspense is done, the crowd will have another Money in the Bank match to look forward to.

Besides, quite honestly, I’m not so sure it would be wise to put Lana in a co-main event match yet.

While she is stunning and has an incredibly captivating entrance, (correct me if I’m wrong) she’s never wrestled before.

Not only will Naomi’s entrance pop the crowd, but Lana’s will as well.

It’s not exactly clear how this match will go—logically, Naomi should squash her, but putting Lana smack-dab in the middle of the show just seems right.

The most pressing question, though: What will Lana’s ring attire be?
