WWE Championship Match
Jinder Mahal (c) vs. John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles

A Fatal Four-Way match for the WWE Championship, especially at SummerSlam, seems somewhat unlikely. John Cena might be better used in a singles match for the title, but if a multi-man bout can have the following four Superstars battle, then it’s bound to be something special.

Cena can get into the WWE Championship picture at any point. It kind of doesn’t matter how many matches he loses, as his pedigree and accolades will get him into the mix for any PPV.

Randy Orton’s direction, after his one-on-one feud with Jinder Mahal is done, is unknown. He can stick around for one more title match, before moving onto something else. It’s SummerSlam, too, which is the stage WWE should want to use for a star-studded match like this, featuring the Viper.

AJ Styles walked into the main event scene in 2016, succeeded, did even better in early 2017, and kept momentum at Money in the Bank. So at any time, he can be put into the title scene.

As for Mahal, he should be bound for SummerSlam as the champion. Who would have thought of that being a possibility in March? Then, defending against three of WWE’s top stars — and winning — would be an even bigger crowning achievement.

It’s a monster title match for SummerSlam, but not the main event. What will close the show?
