WWE Universal Championship Match
Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Braun Strowman

Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman seemed destined to face each other when they interacted on the Raw after WrestleMania 33. Strowman wanted the WWE Universal Championship, which Paul Heyman had already challenged Roman Reigns for. This made Lesnar look for a fight with the Monster Among Men, but to no avail.

Strowman continued his hot run into early May, but went down with an elbow injury. It’s caused him to miss the past six weeks, with a return potentially on the horizon.

With Strowman likely good to go for SummerSlam, WWE should follow up on April’s encounter and create the main event of the show, for the Universal Championship. This is if Lesnar defeats Samoa Joe at Great Balls of Fire.

A Lesnar vs. Strowman match has big money potential written all over it. It’s a battle of two of WWE’s Super Heavyweights, which should lead to a bruising fight at SummerSlam, with plenty of fan excitement. It also comes around the time of Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor, so WWE may want to put on the biggest match possible with their own UFC fighter in the main event.
