In the opening segment of Monday Night RAW, Roman Reigns announced his intentions for SummerSlam. How did the rest of the evening shake out?

Coming off of last week in which we saw Brock Lesnar return for the first time in what felt like a millennium, it was announced throughout RAW last week that Reigns planned to announce his intentions for the SummerSlam pay-per-view event in August.

After Lesnar and Samoa Joe’s segment ended that required the entire RAW locker room to pull the two big men apart, the other focal point of the evening was continuing a feud between Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt which led to Wyatt eventually disappearing into the darkness following a promo with Rollins.

The Miz and Dean Ambrose’s rivalry continue after Heath Slater and Rhyno challenged Miz to a match in which he needed to find a partner.

Well, Miz was unable to, so the dude in the bear costume from two weeks ago came out to assist. Miz was skeptical of the bear which led to Miz attacking him only to find that the bear was some random guy we’ve never seen before.

Miz got back into the ring and Ambrose dressed in a bear costume that was noticeably shorter than the previous bear came in and delivered Dirty Deeds to Miz.

And oh yeah, the ongoing mystery of who has been attacking Big Cass and Enzo Amore continued with seemingly no resolution in sight.

This week on RAW, we were looking forward to Reigns’ announcement, which ended up being the very first segment of this show.
