Finn Bálor vs. Bo Dallas

Result: Finn Bálor defeated Bo Dallas via pinfall

Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars

The match made no sense out of the gate, but the Bo Dallas character did develop more as the night went on and even during the match.

Prior to the beginning of the match, Dallas attacked Bálor gaining some heat from the crowd because their Golden Boy Bálor was harmed by the likes of Dallas.

Dallas had a new look, long hair and a new outfit to boot.

However, Bálor would eventually get the win over Dallas, of course.

Dallas hasn’t been on WWE programming for, well, ever now. It was nice to see a rebooted version of him—maybe he’ll drop this Bo-lieve gimmick and turn to the “dark” side, tapping into his inner heel.

Hell, based off of his new look, maybe a reunion with this brother Bray Wyatt could come down the line?

I didn’t care for the match whatsoever. Again, it was boring, but Dallas back in the fold was intriguing despite another match made out of left field by the WWE.

If only Dallas went over Bálor. Sigh.

Corey Graves

During Bálor’s exit from the ring, Graves abruptly left his announcers desk in the middle of the crew talking to the viewers at home—a shtick that involves Graves going into the back to chat with general manager Kurt Angle about a controversy surrounding him and a text he got weeks ago.
