Akira Tozawa vs. TJP

Result: Akira Tozawa defeats TJP via pinfall

Rating: 0.5 out of 5 stars

This match would have gotten zero stars because quite honestly there’s nothing here to care about, but the dynamic between Titus O’Neil and Neville coming in during the match salvaged some of it.

As mentioned, O’Neil made an appearance.

Prior to the bell ringing, O’Neil came out and talked more about his Titus Brand, and announced both TJP and Tozawa in the ring.

After this, O’Neil resigned to sitting ringside cheering Tozawa on.

As the match went on, Neville eventually came out and sat at the commentators’ desk to simply observe the match.

Tozawa eventually went over and won the match after a Senton Bomb off the top rope, but after that O’Neil and Neville had a confrontation after O’Neil tried to sell his brand to Tozawa even more and even dubbed the catchphrase “The Powa of Tozawa” (or however you spell it).

Again, don’t care about the match and the Titus Brand could consist of Apollo Crews and Akira Tozawa? Wow. Call the police because we’re all doomed.

O’Neil’s verbiage in his promos is so terrible, though, man.

This is a mid-card thing at best, but Neville is always great.
