3. In Your House: Beware of Dog

This is the PPV that the Wrestling Gods hated. No, really this show was hated by someone of a higher power. I think it was hated because the name was so uninspired and terrible. I stated earlier that the In Your House PPVs have had bad names. This is the one that took the cake. The show had so many power outages due to weather that they had to film it two days later. And they called it Beware of Dog 2.

The show was supposed to be centered around Shawn Micheals vs British Bulldog in a silly feud. HBK was supposedly made advances at Bulldogs’s wife. As a result Bulldog got a title shot. All that for the match to end in a draw. The power came back on right as this match was about to get underway. Only this match and the first match aired live. The rest of the matches were contested in the dark.

Beware of Dog 2 was no better. It featured the Caribbean Strap match between Savio Vega and Stone Cold with Ted Dibiase as his manager. If Stone Cold lost, Dibiase was gone. See you on WCW Ted.

Vader and Yokozuna were in anti climatic battle. The main event was a casket match for the IC title between Undertaker and Goldust. It saw Mankind interfere in the match helping The Gold One win. At least the PPV gave the kickoff of the epic feud between Taker and Mankind.

The PPV was the worst of the year for WWE. Now it has the distinction of having one of the worst PPV names ever.
