Seth Rollins vs. Curt Hawkins

Result: Seth Rollins defeated Curt Hawkins via pinfall

Rating: DUD

Last week on Raw, Curt Hawkins had a nice little back and forth match with Seth Rollins. So of course, this week Rollins (the babyface) jumps him before the match, then beats him in about 12 seconds.

This is just another in a long line of examples of terrible babyface behavior in WWE. I don’t want to go off on too much of a rant here about alignments, because a lot of times the presentation of characters is pretty good.

But come on, why should anyone in the WWE Universe cheer for Seth Rollins? Does he even have any redeeming qualities at this point? For the life of me, I can’t figure it out.

Later on in the show, Bray Wyatt magically appears in the desert. Apparently, no one told him that it’s been so hot in Phoenix that literally everything is melting. Anyway, he rambles on and on about being chaos, and taking credit for literally everything that’s happened on Raw since WrestleMania. Yes, Bray, Big Cass kicked Enzo in the face because you showed up on the jumbotron one night, I’m sure that’s right.

To make a long story short, the Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt match at Great Balls of Fire is probably going to be a train wreck. It’s like a dream match for people who are fans of guys with absolutely zero momentum, so it’s got that going for it.
