WWE Great Balls of Fire 2017: How Fast Will Big Cass Rise After the Show?

facebooktwitterreddit

The solo career-potential of Big Cass can skyrocket if done correctly.

Things are on the horizon for Big Cass after he shocked the WWE Universe three weeks ago.  After it was revealed that he was the one behind the attacks on partner Enzo Amore, fans are buzzing with speculation as to where either man will go post-Great Balls of Fire.  In addition, rumors are going around mainly concerning Cass’ future.

While Cass’ solo potential is borderline bubbling over, his direction has to be done right.  He and Amore were one of the most popular tag teams of the modern era.  If they couldn’t even have a Tag Team Championship reign, then a small program with him and Amore should be the least the company can do for either man.  Fans are upset at Cass, and would love to see Amore outsmart him at least once during their feud.  The rumors of the one and done match does neither man any favors, particularly Amore.

With that being said, regardless of the outcome, it is apparent that Cass is onto bigger things once his beef with Amore plays out.  How big his star becomes is up in the air at the moment.  That is because after he supposedly wrestles Amore at Great Balls of Fire, who is next for Cass?  Who could he move onto next?  Will he eye the midcard scene first before threatening Braun Strowman’s place?

Dean Ambrose is more than capable of being a good opponent for Cass – and that is just the start of it.  Roman Reigns is out of the question as he is in line for the Universal Championship post-PPV.  Finn Balor and Elias Samson are engaging in a small feud, so that cancels that possibility.  There is also a chance that maybe a feud with Seth Rollins can work.  Cass will have a lot to prove post-PPV; perhaps the slow and steady approach can work for him.  In the case of Strowman, the slow build for him is paying off in a big way and this needs to go for Cass too if the company has huge plans for him moving forward.

There are so many key things to make Cass’ solo endeavor work for him.  It’s no secret that he will make easy work of Amore before moving on.  Cass will more than likely prove he is ready in efforts to destroy Amore in their matchup.  His next feud will have to get fans invested and interested.   His track record has to make fans understand that he’s all business.  That means after Amore, his wins and losses must count.  Whatever he does must make an impact.

Cass is capable of doing that, and considering his size it bodes well for him.  Just like other giants before him, size will get him further than an average Superstar.  It’s what he does with the keys that will determine how fast he will rise after Great Balls of Fire.  But the company has to bide its time in that they don’t deter Cass from this point on.  It’s a delicate situation but a good situation for Cass to be in.  On the surface, it looks that Cass is getting the better deal out of the breakup than Amore right now.  Fans will find out for sure soon enough.
