The RAW Women’s Division

Highlights of the Division

The featured bout for the division was a tag team match between Sasha Banks and Bayley versus Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss. The Boss made the Women’s Champ tap out with the Bank Statement which stacked up her win total this year to 13. Still not a fan of the champ losing in a non-title match to her eventual title challenger. The champ should be still favored to retain her championship but it wouldn’t be surprising if their feud continues till Summerslam.

Nia Jax lost in her tag team match but is still considered the biggest threat in the division. At the moment she isn’t tangled in any feuds but is hovering around the title picture between Bliss and Banks. There could be a possibility that Nia could be in the mix for the title if Sasha Banks wins the gold but highly unlikely at the moment. It seems like the story of Alexa Bliss cozying up to her to handle the other challengers could be the underlying drama of the summer.

Bayley was knocked out of the tag team match and never returned. Since her loss to Alexa Bliss at Extreme Rules, the former Women’s Champion has experienced a down whirl spiral of her career before our very eyes. This is something that should be explored and could be the key to launch Bayley back as the top dog of the division.

These are the rankings for the division this week.
