WWE Great Balls of Fire 2017: Match Order Predictions

Universal Championship Match
Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Samoa Joe
No, I’m not the biggest fan of Samoa Joe, but he’s probably the most believable superstar on the roster outside of Reigns and Strowman to take on Lesnar.
Not only does his MMA background help, but leading up to this match at Great Balls of Fire, Lesnar has done a fantastic job in making Joe look like a believable threat and opponent. That came through Lesnar’s face turning red when Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch on Raw. It made the Samoan Submission Machine look dominant, with the ability to take down the Beast Incarnate at Great Balls of Fire.
Unfortunately, Joe is also the perfect candidate for a one-and-done scenario leading up to SummerSlam where Lesnar will take on Strowman and/or Reigns for the Universal Championship.
With that said, Joe has earned the right for a push, but maybe it’s not the right time yet.
We all knew this was the main event, but when you look at the build-up to it, it could have been better of course, but Lesnar did help in selling Joe as a legitimate threat to his title.
