WWE Raw will dish out its latest effort at Great Balls of Fire, their final PPV before SummerSlam.
While there is a majority of fans out there can agree that this PPV needs a better name, in this case, don’t judge a book by its cover. Raw will have its Great Balls of Fire event this Sunday and let’s just say the card has huge potential. With the great buildup between Samoa Joe and Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman, and the little details coming together in other feuds it is shaping up to be a great show.
From what the card looks like, Raw is putting in a solid effort to make the best out of the PPV. All Championships will be defended on the show in addition to having a 30 minute Iron Man Match and the Ambulance match between Reigns and Strowman. Enzo Amore and Big Cass will square off against each other; Sasha Banks will challenge Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s Championship in a match fans have wanted to see.
SummerSlam is just around the corner, to which it seems that every year, WWE has been making a bigger deal out of SummerSlam. The fallout of this show on Sunday will set in place what Raw can offer to the hottest event of the Summer. Raw is without its struggles though, and the brand has to hit hard with Great Balls of Fire. With that being said, there have already been some swerves delivered in the buildup to the PPV. They must continue that trend on Sunday.
So it all comes down to this – what could happen on Sunday in terms of swerves? It will be interesting to see just exactly how each feud will play out. While not every match will have a swerve on Sunday, either one would be a great moment that could possibly happen.
