2. RAW Ratings Will Rise

It’s no secret that RAW‘s ratings have been suffering lately, and a lot of the blame for this has been put on the Universal Champion, or lack of Universal Champion.

While Lesnar is one of the most credible champions and biggest draws in the company, the fact that he gets to essentially make his own schedule has been hurting RAW‘s ratings. It’s hard to get interested in a program when their top champion and championship hardly ever show up.

So, it may be time to move the championship off of Lesnar. Lesnar does not actually need the belt to continue his success in the WWE, but WWE needs the belt on a full timer if RAW is to get out of its rating slump.

A program with Roman Reigns just may do that. If WWE were to move the championship belt onto anyone, it’d be Reigns. The initial plan was for Reigns to conquer the beast at WrestleMania, but desperation may cause those plans to be moved up to SummerSlam.

While Strowman defeating Lesnar would be quite the feat, he has yet to prove he could be successful as a top guy. He is not that great as promos, and does not have enough experience under his belt.

Meanwhile, Reigns has won a world championship multiple times and has recently found his groove on the microphone playing off of the polar reactions he gets from the crowds.

Whether you love or hate Roman, The Guy always draws faces to their TVs, and he is the perfect choice to help drag RAW out of its rating slump. It all begins with a Universal Championship match against Brock Lesnar in the main event of SummerSlam.
