3. Raw Women’s Championship Match
Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks

Now things are starting to get blurry. So far, all champions have retained, which isn’t an impossibility, given that we’re on the road to SummerSlam. The Raw Women’s Championship could be an upset. There’s no good reason to take the belt off of Bliss. She’s the best talker in the division, the best true heel in most of the entire company, and credible in the ring. Simply, she’s hot right now, so why would WWE want to end her reign so abruptly-oh they’ve already done that to her once? Right.

Banks is a superstar but she has a ways to go to get back to her spot at the top. In the gauntlet match, she showed ingenuity and a willingness to adapt. She didn’t, however, have the best performance of the night. We need to see her return to the heights she hit as NXT Women’s Champion before she holds that belt again. It makes sense to keep it on Bliss until SummerSlam, so that’s the winner we’re going with. At the same time, when was the last time WWE did something simply because it made sense?
