Bray Wyatt vs. Seth Rollins

Result: Bray Wyatt defeats Seth Rollins via pinfall

Rating: 3.0 out of 5 stars

This is probably the match fans are most concerned with. There’s not much of a story to this feud, aside from Seth Rollins not thinking Bray Wyatt is a “God.” That’s not a great foundation for fans to care, nor is the lack of steam behind either WWE Superstar since the Superstar Shakeup.

A slow pace to start the match, with Wyatt methodically dominating. He even hit a superplex, something not usually in his playbook.

Wyatt got the pinfall win, after he poked Rollins in the eyes while the referee was distracted. It came following the Sister Abigail finisher.

For Wyatt, it’s somewhat surprising that he picked up the win, given his lack of big-match victories. It gives him some momentum, but likely for a rematch with Rollins at SummerSlam, especially with the ending at the bout’s conclusion.

With Rollins, it just means he’ll go for revenge. Look for that starting on Monday’s Raw and at SummerSlam, in a similar matchup to what was seen at Great Balls of Fire. That’s not a bad thing, but can WWE keep up this feud for another six weeks?
