Result: Sasha Banks wins via countout. However, Alexa Bliss remains Raw Women’s Champion.

Sasha Banks got this opportunity from winning a Gauntlet match on Raw. She snuck past Nia Jax, getting her first title match since WrestleMania 33. Would it result in her fourth reign on Sunday night?

During the match, Bliss pulled the double-jointed fakeout she did on SmackDown and fooled Banks. She hit a sharp elbow and grossed out everyone online and at the Great Balls of Fire PPV.

It’s always a positive when there’s match psychology integrated into the action. The focus went on Banks’ back, after she landed hard on the apron. Bliss worked on it and did some damage in the middle of the match.

The match ended on a countout, which means we’re in for a rematch between Bliss and Banks. SummerSlam has an opening, which could feature Nia Jax, although that has yet to be rumored or speculated on.

Overall, a fun showing between Bliss and Banks in a fresh matchup. They’ll meet again at some point, with WWE’s Biggest Show of the Summer just six weeks away. Oh, and multiple episodes of Raw, which could be the setting for their next encounter.
