Baron Corbin vs Shinsuke Nakamura

Result: N/A (No Contest)

Rating: N/A (Brawl gets 3.75 out of 5 stars)

Moments before our next contest of the night, Baron Corbin conducted an interview which centered around Shinsuke Nakamura. Ready for a fight, the Lone Wolf was eager to dish out some punishment on the King of Strong Style. A commercial break interrupted proceedings for a short while, but when we returned Nakamura was ready to make his entrance to the ring. Receiving a strong reaction from the live crowd, he too appeared happy to engage in physicality.

As the Lone Wolf made his way to the ring, Nakamura decided he had waited long enough. Exiting the squared circle, he went straight for his recent rival and the brawl was on. Their fight took place all throughout the ringside area, and even found it’s way into the live audience. Eventually, officials were able to break up the fight and send both men to the back. Still, the abrupt end to the brawl did little to damage the strong impact it had on the show as a whole. Kudos to both men for putting on a convincing battle.

Backstage, AJ Styles and John Cena had a brief discussion in the locker room. Talking about how the WWE Championship changed hands the last time they fought in the ring, the Phenomenal One insisted that he intends on keeping this title as long as he sees fit. Cena believed that picking a fight with him wasn’t the best way to go for accomplishing that goal, but confirmed that he’ll have his partner’s back tonight.
