WWE Battleground 2017: Match Order Predictions

Jinder Mahal (c) vs. Randy Orton – Punjabi Prison Match

For the first time in 10 years, we will see the Punjabi Prison Match in action.

Not only that, but we’ll see Orton and Mahal for the third straight “pay-per-view” event—this is what happens when you do a brand split and don’t have enough of a roster.

Either way, the gimmick alone will make people tune into this match.

For me, it’s a combination of both Mahal and the gimmick—I’m a huge Mahal fan as he is arguably the best heel in the company right now.

However, Orton is no slouch.

Some may say that he is boring and not a great in-ring performer anymore, but he is great on the mic and even though he’s considered the babyface in this feud, he still has that Viper mentality about it that can make him become unhinged.

Without The Singh Brothers (as far as we know), Mahal will have to deal with The Viper on his own in a structure that is a sight to behold.

We all knew this was going to be the main event, but hey, I’ll take all the “W’s” I can get when it comes to predicting these cards as they can be tricky!

Mahal will go over again, survive the Punjabi Prison and we will see Mahal and Cena at SummerSlam. Book it.
