Low Ki vs Matt Sydal vs El Hijo de Fantasma

Result: Matt Sydal def. Ki and Fantasma

Low Ki jumps on the newcomer early in the match but Matt Sydal capitalizes on their overzealous former champion.  The match is rapid from the beginning with multiple moves being hit right after the other.  Matt Sydal takes advantage of Fantasma but Low Ki doesn’t stay down for long.  The stiff striking style of Low Ki is giving none of the other competitor’s chances in this match in its early stages.  El Hijo de Fantasma finds some offensive momentum but after a pair of dives, it’s practically a stalemate.

Fantasma starts to use his power edge to take control of the match.  He locks in the surfboard stretch on Matt Sydal but Low Ki breaks it up with the Warriors Way.  After a fight on the top turnbuckle that takes Low Ki to the apron, El Hijo de Fantasma’s dive attempt of halted.  He is hit with the Warrior’s Way but then Matt Sydal breaks up that potential pin with the Shooting Star Press.  Matt Sydal wins an amazing  X-Division match.

Matt Sydal congratulates his opponents for continuing to show the rise of the X-Division.  He wants to speak to the authority of Impact Wrestling.  Bruce Prichard states that Matt Sydal is deserving of an X-Division Championship match.  Lashley comes out to demand his fair World Championship rematch.  He interrupts Sydal’s request and claims that he will destroy everything in his way.  Lashley starts with Matt Sydal as he leaves him laying with a spear.  This seemed like it put the World Championship and the X-Division Championship on the same platform in an odd way.

Laurel Van Ness and Grado continue their date.  He thinks he sees Kongo Kong but it’s actually Idris Abraham.  Van Ness does mention two souls being together forever plus Joseph Park wants to know if she is ready for Grado to pop the question.
