4 Predictions for WWE Raw: July 24, 2017

Could a Shocking Announcement Pave the Way for a New Rivalry?
Thanks to their victory at Great Balls of Fire, Cesaro and Sheamus have established themselves as the top team on Raw. With the Hardy Boyz teasing their Broken gimmick and a paper-thin tag division at play, the Tag Team Champions find themselves without any challengers. Is this going to be an ongoing issue, or is the Flagship Show set to fix what should be considered a rather serious issue?
Ever since last year’s Brand Split, the tag teams in WWE have been spread dangerously thin. Both the Raw and SmackDown Live divisions lack diversity, albeit for different reasons. The Flagship Show has several heel tag teams but almost no face partnerships. Meanwhile on the Blue Brand, there are a great deal of face duos, and yet no real heels. Thankfully, a solution may have presented itself that can at least rectify the situation for Raw.
Last week, a truly shocking moment took place when Kurt Angle revealed that Jason Jordan was his son. The announcement may have propelled Jordan’s career to new heights, however, it leaves his former partner Chad Gable in an awkward spot. Gable could flourish on the Blue Brand, but in reality that roster is already too cluttered.
Instead, just imagine if American Alpha continued to compete, only this time on the Flagship Show. As an added bonus, it would make perfect sense if Angle were to mentor the duo. The General Manager obviously wants the best for his son, so why not let him stand out in the tag division? Not only would it bolster the division, it would also present the chance for Cesaro and Sheamus to work with highly-capable opponents.
