Garza Jr. and Laredo Kid vs El Hijo de Fantasma and Naomichi Marufuji

Result: Fantasma and Marufuji def. Garza Jr. and Kid via pinfall

The match starts off technically but when Marufuji gets into the match, the physicality turns up.  As the match goes to the outside, Kid and Garza Jr. show their diving abilities.  This doesn’t help as the match goes back to the ring.  Garza Jr. and Kid regain the advantage with their tandem offense.  Fantasma and Marufuji show their skill as a tag team.  Garza Jr. thinks that he’s going to rip his pants off but is met with a superkick.  What a back and forth match between a solid tag team and another that could be after this match.  The battle continues but Marufuji solidifies a win for his team with Sliced Bread Number Two.

Ohio Versus Everyone is promoted in a vignette giving a new meaning to OVE.

Grado and Joseph Park vs Kongo Kong

Result: Kong def. Park and Grado via pinfall

Over the past few weeks, Grado has been trying to propose to Kongo Kong’s main squeeze, Laurel Van Ness.  Kong is quite angry about the entire situation and the game of rock paper scissors probably didn’t help.  Grado starts the match but gets out of dodge early.  Kongo Kong takes control after the headbutt of Park hurt Park himself.  Park plays defense and it seems like Park and Grado have fought their way into the match.  After some excessive celebration, Kongo Kong takes time to recover.  He would easily win this match.

After the match, Kongo Kong continues his attack on Grado and Joseph Park.  He sets them up for his top rope splash but Laurel Van Ness stops him again.  Kong gets enraged and picks up Van Ness on his shoulders. Tyrus’ music hits and after a brief staredown between the two, Laurel Van Ness pulls Kongo Kong away.

Trevor Lee plans to show Sonjay Dutt who the real champion is tonight.  Low Ki says that everything Alberto El Patron has been through has been for a cause.  Lashley warns the other competitors that they are going against heavy hitters and for his partners to just stay out of his way.  A video package is played chronicling the rivalry between Trevor Lee and Sonjay Dutt where Lee has stolen the title.  The second part of the Bobby Lashley, MMA video package is more of a reaction by Global Force Wrestling President, Jeff Jarrett.
