Raw Women’s Championship Match
Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bayley

This has been a match in the making ever since Bayley made her debut on the main roster.

Sasha and Bayley stole the show in the main event of NXT Takeover Brooklyn, and the WWE Universe have just been waiting and begging to see it again.

Sasha has shown signs of a heel turn, but she has yet to pull the trigger. The damage that WWE has done to Bayley’s character may be irreparable, which could hurt this storyline.

It is hard for Bayley to come off as the sympathetic baby face when she is getting booed out of the building on a weekly basis. However, Sasha has been receiving heat of her own, so she may be able to still effectively pull off the heel turn.

Now that Sasha is the RAW Women’s Champion, she can finish up her feud with Alexa Bliss and then begin her turn on Bayley.

Hopefully, if executed properly, it would end with a highly anticipated match at WrestleMania. This can then be the stage where Bayley can redeem her poor run on the main roster with one bright moment on the grandest stage of them all.

That all depends on if WWE can get it right this time.

SmackDown Women’s Championship Match
Charlotte (c) vs. Becky Lynch

While neither Becky nor Charlotte are SmackDown Live Women’s Champion, there is no denying that these two are the division’s two biggest stars on the brand.

Naomi just lost the championship to Natalya, so that feud can run a little longer. Then, Carmella could possibly cash in, or she could wait until or after WrestleMania for the cash in.

It’s more likely that Charlotte, rather than Becky, would be going into WrestleMania as champion after dethroning Natalya and defeating challengers like Tamina and Carmella due to her pedigree.

Charlotte now appears to be a face, and Becky is also a face so it would be interesting to see these two face off with that dynamic. Or, an even more enticing option would be a Becky Lynch heel turn.

Becky Lynch has never been a heel in the WWE. Although, WWE has done a good job at hinting and teasing a turn throughout her career like when she teased joining the Welcoming Committee.

WrestleMania is where the stars shine brightest, and there are no two bigger stars in SmackDown’s Women’s division than Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Those two should definitely draw a crowd and put on a great match.
