5. Chad Gable

Gable is a debatable one on this list due to his recent split with his former tag team partner, Jason Jordan, but hopefully good things are on the horizon for the former Olympian. Since his arrival in NXT back in 2015, Gable has been a fine addition to WWE with his humorous promo work, and his fantastic in-ring ability.

Known for his amateur background and Olympic credentials, Gable has transitioned nicely to the world of professional wrestling, and has proven he can be a formidable singles competitor on SmackDown Live. If his recent matches with Rusev and AJ Styles are any indication, it may only be a matter of time before Chad Gable claims the spot that he deserves to be in.

The only thing that may work against Gable by WWE’s standards is that his size could hinder the level of success he attains, but after seeing what he can do in the ring, hopefully WWE take notice that they may have a future star on their hands.
