3. Sami Zayn

If there is one superstar that fans feel is being completely underutilized since arriving on the main roster, it’s Sami Zayn. With a move to SmackDown Live following this year’s Superstar Shake-up, fans thought that this would be Zayn’s big break, and that he would at least be in contention for a championship in the coming months. As we all know, this was not the case.

Zayn’s time on SmackDown Live has been shockingly similar to his run on Monday Night Raw, where he frequently loses matches, and has shown little to no progression in his hunt to pursue a championship. Through no fault of his own, Zayn still performs at a very high level, but the company hasn’t really seemed to get behind him in any sense.

As far as in-ring performers, he’s arguably one of the top 5 superstars on SmackDown Live and incredibly popular with the fans, and yet he has not even competed in a singles match for a championship in over 2 years. Poor, Sami.
