John Cena, Roman Reigns break every wall of wrestling (Video)

John Cena and Roman Reigns just went through one of the most intense WWE segments you’ll ever see.

John Cena and Roman Reigns will go to battle at WWE No Mercy in the show’s main event. It’s a WrestleMania-caliber match to headline a Raw-exclusive pay-per-view.

On Monday’s episode of the Flagship Show, Cena and Reigns had a contract signing for their match. It marked the first one-on-one segment between the two since 2014, if The Miz and Samoa Joe’s inclusions aren’t included from last week’s show.

Well, Cena and Reigns delivered maybe the most intense promo or segment you’ll see in the WWE. For about 15 minutes these two traded verbal jabs and broke almost every wall there is in professional wrestling. Cena referenced a “heel turn,” while Reigns went after his No Mercy opponent’s “part-time” life outside the company. This explanation doesn’t do it justice, as the segment has to be seen itself:

Hopefully WWE posts the full video of the promo, rather than uploading a sliver of it on YouTube. It’s worth the watch and rewatch for anyone who watched it live.

This provided the Cena-Reigns match with all the heat it ever needed. The crowd was red hot for the segment, along with the personal attacks these two threw at each other. It got real — very real, and in a hurry and shouldn’t be the last time this happens, especially with about one month to go before No Mercy.
