WWE: Braun Strowman’s Two-Year Anniversary
A Monster Among Men on RAW
In July of that year after the WWE draft, creative hit the restart button on Strowman. His look had only slightly changed, slimmed down a considerable amount since his debut.
We were now seeing a more dexterous Strowman inside the ring. Before we had a chance to process the changes, we were witnessing old-school squash matches where Strowman was absolutely crushing no-name enhancement talent, sometimes in two- or three-on-one encounters.
WWE seemed to be investing in the stocks of both Strowman and Nia Jax, who was participating in similar bouts on the red brand.
In this series of matches, Strowman’s first idiosyncrasy as a character appeared: according to him, he was a monster in a land of men and the competition wasn’t good enough for him.
He was bored.
