WWE: Braun Strowman’s Two-Year Anniversary
Breaking Big Show
The Big Show was logical “competition” for the Monster Among Men based on his size and gatekeeper status. Strowman’s feud with Show intertwined nicely with his budding Roman Reigns rivalry.
If this was a litmus test for Braun’s performance in a high-profile matchup, he passed with flying colours.
He was no longer the slow and clunky performer he’d been criticized of being as a Wyatt. Not only was Strowman carrying Big Show on his shoulder and delivering his British Bulldog-like running powerslam finisher, he was actually kipping-up and dropkicking Show on his way to victory.
Oh, and then there was this:
Braun Strowman had levelled up and fans were starting to ride the wave. He was being presented as a heartless heel, but any experienced observer could tell the crowd was chomping at the bit to cheer him.
Enter Roman Reigns.
