Kevin Owens Interrupts Aiden English
We return from commercial with Aiden English in-ring doing his solo singing act. Eventually he is interrupted by a Kevin Owens. Owens marches to the ring and asks English to kindly leave the ring. Saying that “we’re in Little Rock, Arkansas (cheers). These hillbillies can’t appreciate your refined singing (boos).”
KO recounts how he was screwed last week, and spins the authority on its head saying that on Raw Stephanie McMahon would never abuse her power in the same way that Shane has recently.
Shane comes out and gives his recount of last week’s events and tells KO that he interrupting a match between Aiden English and Sami Zayn. A match that would begin right now!
Sami Zayn vs. Aiden English w/ special commentator Kevin Owens
Result: No Contest
With KO at the commentators booth there was no telling how this match would end, but I knew it would be quick. After taking a few verbal jabs at poor Byron Saxton, KO charged the ring. As English and Zayn struggled on the top rope, Owens striped the shirt off the official and donned the jersey himself. A confused and frustrated Zayne confronted KO who delivered a Pop-Up Powerbomb to the Underdog of the Underground. English picked up the pin and the win. Or did he….? Shane would later say the match did not count because of Kevin Owens’ interference.
It should be noted that when performing his Suicide Somersault Senton, Zayn’s foot hit the barricade and he looked to be favoring it a little bit during the match. It hardly looked serious, and I really hope it’s not. Zayn is the reason I started watching wrestling again his in-ring style and promos are both equally interesting as they are captivating. I really hope that he is give a run with some title, because he absolutely deserves it.
