WWE: 3 Women Nikki Bella Should Feud With When She Returns

1. Asuka

Former NXT Women’s Champion Asuka is the longest reigning WWE Champion in the modern WWE era, with a reign of 510 days…something that is virtually unheard of in WWE nowadays.

After NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III, Asuka relinquished the Women’s title on the following episode of NXT due to a broken collarbone. An injury that would only take her out of action for 4-6 weeks, so her relinquishing the title was unneeded. Because the next Takeover event isn’t until Survivor Series weekend in 11 weeks, which is next time Asuka would be forced to defend the title.

The only reason WWE would take the title off of Asuka is if they are moving her up to the main roster. What better person to be Asuka’s first victim than Nikki Bella?

If Asuka could come up to the main roster and put away Nikki Bella in quick fashion, it would instantly bring her reputation of an unbeatable force to the main roster fans. Her being able to put away an industry legend like Nikki quickly and easily would make her look stronger than ever.

Asuka has looked complacent in NXT. She has taken on everyone NXT has to offer and beat them all. With no one left for Asuka to face, a move to the main roster is the only viable option left for Asuka.

Nikki could get the best out of Asuka, too. Asuka can hold her own in the ring, and Bella can carry her on the mic. Seeing the two go at it in the ring could be an instant classic. Over the years Bella has only gotten better in the ring, and Asuka is arguably the best female worker in the WWE. She came close to five stars from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. on her last two matches with Ember Moon.

Nikki would be a perfect first feud on the main roster, and Asuka a perfect opponent for Nikki to face on her return to WWE. If Asuka goes to SmackDown, there would be no need for Nikki to switch brands, and the SmackDown Women’s division would get a lot stronger.

A Nikki vs Asuka feud would be best for business.
