GFW Impact Wrestling Review; Results and Analysis for September 7

Trevor Lee and Caleb Konley vs Sonjay Dutt and Petey Williams
Result: Lee and Konley def. Dutt and Williams
Sonjay Dutt picks up the tempo early using a hurricanrana to get Konley off his game. When Petey Williams gets into the match, it gives Konley a chance to fight back. As Williams looks like he will take firm control, Lee tags himself in. Early in this match, Konley and Lee uses their tag team chemistry to their advantage. As the match progresses, miscommunication begins to mount up and it allows Williams and Dutt a chance to show their tag team skill. Lee and Konley begin to use dirty tactics to grab and maintain control.
They exploited their opponents while the referee’s even their opponents’ back or was turned. Sonjay Dutt comes in late in the match and shows that he is the fresh man but when Lee and Konley teamed up, Dutt and Williams seemed to have no chance. Although, Lee and Konley took every advantage they could, Dutt and Williams found a way to be victorious. They finished the match with a Canadian Destroyer and top rope splash to win this opening tag team match.
Latin American Xchange vs John Bowen and Zach Wentz
Result: LAX def. Bowen and Wentz
Diamante and Santana start off the match in their typical aggressive fashion. Ohio Versus Everything are shown backstage watching the match. They continue to use their tag team skill to claim the victory. The kill shot was their signature powerbomb, blockbuster combo to end the night for Bowen and Wentz.
After the match, Ohio Versus Everything are not impressed and they make it known. They feel like LAX needs some real competition. OVE claim that LAX aren’t truly family like the two Crist brothers. They are staking their claim for the GFW Tag Team Championships. Konnan claims that the champions call the shots and issue an usual challenge. He wants them to come into enemy territory at the Crash Promotion and OVE feels like that is there wheelhouse.
